A1. Crave You
A2. Crave You (Version 2)
B1. Crave You (C90s Remix)
B2. Crave You (An-2 Remix)
Here it is. You've seen it on AEROPLANE'S chart mix, heard it on the dancefloor, eaten pizza to it at Hugos Lounge, listened to your Mum humming the lyrics and now finally, FLIGHT FACILITIES debut release, "CRAVE YOU" is OUT OUT NOW (SOONISH).
Following on from remixes for the likes of BAG RAIDERS (with guest vocals by lounge legend LOUIS AUSTEN), THE LOWBROWS, SNEAKY SOUND SYSTEM and TOECUTTER, the Sydney based duo finally locked themselves down in the studio, enlisted the superamazing vocal talents of GISELLE and pumped out this end of summer anthem.
The release features the guys own 2 versions - the original, a more chilled affair and a club retake and remixes CASSIAN, GRAZ, JAMES CURD, C90S, AN-2 and TED & FRANCIS.
Good luck not getting the vocal stuck in your head and driving you insane.

DANGEROUS DAN
"THE RITZ"

*DIGITAL EXCLUSIVE*
1. The Ritz
2. The Ritz (Riton Live in Amsterdam Version)
BangGang12s started off with it's first release from Dangerous in 2006 (remember that cover of Around The World) and it only took 29 records for him to do another. either he is ingeniously lazy or ingeniously sporadic or ingeniously lucky, whatever it is here is BG30 from Dan, look forward to BG60 from Dangerous.
And now a few words from the man himself about this record...
Just in time for summer, here is your now mastered version of DANGEROUS DAN'S new Jam "THE RITZ". It's called "THE RITZ" cause it actually uses bits of an old song called "THE RITZ", or putting it on "THE RITZ", or put it on "THE RITZ", whatever - TACO did a cover of it in the 80's. Cool.
Well this is the 2000's, not the CDJ 2000's but the year 2000's. Whatever (again). This song is a mega dance jam, kinda cheesy but still kinda cool, its got some noise but got some groove and in the middle its got a gimmick of a breakdown that kids go nuts too. It is a banger. Mega, festival, mainroom, high in your car type banger.
TIGA said its not his style but he gets it and don't change a thing. AEROPLANE love it and promise to play it every set. My brother BENI who I hold in the highest of respect says its DOPE and he is gonna do a remix when he has time. The rest of my friends who have heard it have written a reaction below...
RITON has been caning it and had the courtesy to give you an example of what its sounds like "live" playing it at a festival in Amsterdam, you get to see what its sounds like when 12,000 Dutch try to groan in key. Weird.
Download it, listen to it, love it/hate it, cue it, mix it, drop it, dance to it, enjoy it, play it again.
PUT IT ON THE RITZ.
HYSTEREO
"CITYSPEAK"

A1: Cityspeak
A2: Hysterica
B1: Cityspeak (Arveene + Misk Remix)
B2: Cityspeak (Deadbots + Hystereo Remix)
CITYSPEAK and HYSTERICA - in typical HYSTEREO style - are straight-up noisy dancefloor bangers with synths and big as fuck drums. ARVEENE & MISK strip it back and take things a few leagues deeper with their its-all-about-the-bassline techy tech mix and HYSTEREO along with fellow citymen, DEADBOTS, pretty things up in their melodic retake.

POLARGEIST
"HOME FROM THE CAN"

A1: Home From The Can
A2: Use Me
B1: Home From The Can (Tensnake Remix)
B2: Home From The Can (nes Remixed by The Bang Gang)
Polargeist. 2 guys from Germany. That's all I know about them. This is their first release. It's got two dark building tech chuggers with some blissed out chords, and a fruity lil breakdown in one of them. Tensnake reworks "Home" into a moody summer persussive house number and BangGang get all aussie-French house on the original. With that we have this 4 track release. Enough said. Who even reads these blurbs anyway? Sheesh.
"The orig is my fave track of the year so far... Bang Gang have been putting out some of my fave tracks in the last few months..."

CASSIAN
"FRIDAY NIGHT" EP

A1: Friday Night
A2: Fuck Song
B1: Final Round
From the bright sunny heights of Sydney suburbia, after months spent tweaking in his studio/parents living room comes the original fuuuuuunky-fresh Zulu synth warrior, Cassian, with his 3 track release on BangGang 12s. This is Cassian's debut outing after remixing the likes of Empire of the Sun, Bag Raiders, Damn Arms, Classix and Miami Horror.
The lead track, "Friday Night" is the perfect weekend synth jam with wah wah guitar, disco vocals, stabbing guitar chords, horn stabs and more. "Final Round" is feel good summer opus with distorted bassline (of course), arcade game samples, knockout drums and filters filters filters. The "Fuck Song" (as the title suggests) is a super smooth jazz piano funk number with strat riffs, filtered funk chords, trumpet stabs, crooning vibrato solos and a smoooooooooth deep synth bassline.
Lots more coming from this kid real soon.

GOLDEN BUG
"ASSASSIN" EP

A1. Assassin
A2. Ghost Day
B1. Last Dance In Tokyo
B2. Last Dance In Tokyo (GLOVES Rewrite)
Just in time for the (Australian) summer, Golden Bug touches dooooown with his long awaited "Assassin" Ep After his debut album "Hot Robot" on Gomma a last year and remixes for the likes of Delphic, GLOVES, Adam Freeland, Rodion and Lost Valentinos the robot loving French Barecelonian, now crosses many a ocean to release his best-yet-sick-stuff 5 track cut-disco feel-real-good release on, BangGang 12s.
The title track "Assassin" is a slow tempo new-not-nu-kinda-old school electro track with a dark hypnotic bassline, acid keyboards and pitched vocals.
"Ghost Day" is a chugging spaced out cosmic disco builder that swings all over the place and features Yoshimi Yamano Aka AMWE from Japan on guest vocals.
"Last Dance in Tokyo" is a Tribal discoid summer jam with tonnes of vocoder, 80's keyboard stylings and a killer of a watch-ya-bassbins-bassline.
"Lord of Pleasure" is a building somewhere-between-start-of-the-night-and-peak of-the-night-dancefloor-weeapon with tripped out "for your love" vocals, guitar hits and moody breakdown blissed out breakdowns.
And then on remix duties Melbourne all round partyman and synth lover, GLOVES, takes "Last Dance", keeping slabs of the original and reworks in into a ozzie hands in the air summer piano disco house affair.

TOECUTTER
"BEST PARTY EVER"

A1. Best Party Ever (Toecutter's Banggang 12" Mix)
A2. Best Political Party Ever (Captain Ahab)
A3. Best Cocksucking Party Ever (Dj Rainbow Ejaculation)
B1. Best Party Ever (Shazam Remix)
B2. Best Party Ever (Jono Ma Remix)
B3. Best Party Ever (Electromeca Rotten Cream Cheese Mix)
Toecutter has been sitting on this one since 1984 when he recorded the hook onto a cassette and spent nearly twenty five years deliberating on its merits. In the last two years, it has been remixed by such dance music notables as Shazam, Jono Ma, Captain Ahab, Electromeca, and Dj Rainbow Ejaculation.
Basically, it's been the "Cops are Coming!" anthem of Sydney's squat party underground but the Bang Gang boys have now brought it into the light!!!
So enjoy the Rough Trade, acid-come-down, Roule inspired, world domination, 8-bit gabber, grind-house festival of noise provided by these outstanding artists!
